I write songs for everyone: young and old, boy and girl, heart-breakers and the heart-broken. As an artist I strive to write songs that people can relate to. My desire is for my song to be that one thing a person needs to hear in order to get them through a hard time, or to act as an anthem for a happy time.

My artistic journey began at the age of 15 while at a small concert with my Dad. As soon as the band started, I was completely enamored with the sheer passion of the lyrics. I was instantly addicted.

I recorded my first seven-song album, Lipstick, at Slack Key Studios in Nashville with Grammy Award winning producer Randy Kohrs along with other notable studio musicians who have played with the likes of Dierks Bentley, Easton Corbin, Dolly Parton, Allison Krauss, Easton Corbin, Toby Keith, and more.

A few of the most notable shows that I have played include: a private party for the Dallas Mavericks while opening for Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers, opening for Josh Abbott Band, opening for Weston Burt, playing in Steamboat, CO at MusicFest, performing with Josh Abbott while opening for Blake Shelton at Alpha-Psi Rodeo, and opening for Jana Kramer.

My album, Lipstick, can be found on my website, on iTunes and most online music retailers, as well as at Reverbnation.com/haleystevens. I also have demos and worktapes of new songs, as well as cover songs at YouTube.com/haleystevensmusic.
